Not great as the other but I took advantage. I am trying to steer clear of commercial gyms and I travel. This gym is perfect for those serious about fitness. Great machines ! A bit of a commute for me but being able to access a smaller, very clean gym is great !
Louis area– and know what I like and dislike. St. Louis Fitness Club is hands down my all time favorite thus far. I guess over the years of working out next to people doused in perfume and abusing simple gym etiquette, I’ve become quite picky about my gym environment.
A lot of concerns from a safety standpoint come to mind here. It was really warm the day we worked out, and I heard someone else ask their staff if the AC was working, she replied yes, it’s on full blast, but it definitely didn’t feel like it – more like the heat was on. The free weights and machine side is what it is, no frills, kind of old school, pelo real problem there. Classes are included, which they seem to have a lot of and they also have a smoothie bar. I was really blown away though by the fact that they stated to us that we were getting a great deal from our old membership with F19, because normally their memberships are roughly $ 30.00 a month. We were paying $ 10.00 at F19. Great location, not-great parking and in bad need of a cardio re-fresh. We’ll look elsewhere.

I think they should just divide it out and charge the extra few bucks a month instead of the annual fee. It’s not like they lied about the fee or anything, I just don’t like this pricing structure. I think it is… shady. Even though it’s not. But it is. Even though it’s not.

But Website now I LOVE THIS GYM! That being said, I’ve been working out since I was 15 and know all the equipment etc. For a newbie who they say they are catering to it might be a little harder because they sign you up and send you on your way.
I wish they had the wipes for the Aqui machines instead of Clique Aqui spray and paper towels, but you can’t win them all.
The juice bar made great smoothies and there was plenty of exercise equipment. Even if we went at the busiest time of day, we usually didn’t have to wait very long to use what we wanted. This is where I started taking spinning classes, and the instructors were so nice and felt like real people, that I just kept going. If you are thinking about joining this gym, I say go for it.
